We are always looking for entertainment of all types: full shows, or individuals that we can add to a larger show as burlesque, circus, music acts, variety performers, and any other act that would fit with our style. Sometimes an act is not exactly what we are looking for but with a gentle change it can fit in or, maybe a show is not enough to fill a night, in that case we will want you or us to pair it with another show.
Local Bands: Contact us if you are interested in a show. Original bands will be given 15 tickets per band and will need to sell them to be in the show. We want at least 3 -5 bands per show. Minimum tickets sales for the show in the week is 50, 100 for a Friday. The first $250 goes to our lights and sound and to open. Then the bands bet %90 of all ticket sales. (this covers our ticketing cost such as a phone sales person and credit card fees) Sales can be in physical tickets sold hand to hand, at the door, or on our online ticketing. The groups that sell the tickets get the money, and it is kept track of and distributed at the end of the night. At this time we are not doing these on Sat. For more information contact us. For groups that draw very large amounts of people, we can work out a percentage of bar and food.
Touring Bands: If you are interested in playing at the Jumpin' Jupiter, and you are not in a position to tell tickets had to hand we need to see the potential for tickets sales. This could be in the form of Poll Star data, a history of playing in St. Louis and pulling a large crowd that we can verify, or just a rental of the venue. for a door deal please read above. And if we do not sell 50 tickets the show will be canceled. For shows that need a guarantee. We will need to see that amount in pre ticket sales by 12 noon the day of the show. We like to see that band paired up with other local bands that can draw. For very popular touring groups, we will take each offer in consideration and use history and Poll Star data to consider a good fit. Note, we try and assemble shows that will sell tickets and will fill a large part of the night.
Full Show Theatrical Groups: If you are a full theater group, theatrical group, burlesque, circus groups etc and want to play at The Jumpin' Jupiter, please contact us. Much like the above, we will want to see the potential for tickets sales. You can in the week work with us to rent the venue for a small fee that will cover our cost to open, and we supply drinks and food. Again we will need to see ticket sales. these acts need to be at lease 1.5 hours n length. We may want to partner you up with another for of similar entertainment to flush out the night.
Individual Performers: who want to be in our shows: If you are a single performer and want to be added to one of our in house shows, please send us video, photos, name, bio and any information that you can to make the process easy for us. If we like you, we can add you to our talent pool, or we may add you to a show right away. Please do not send letter with out as much of this information as you can.
Please contact us if you have an act that you feel will blend well with our mission. This may consist of a single person or a full produced act. The club features in-house lighting and sound and can assist in upgrading a show with higher production standards. Also, we have dressing rooms and a backstage area.
