Ticketing

We sell tickets though our box office and give you the money, or allow you to sell them. You are responsible for all booking agent’s fees and taxes.  We can also print tickets if you would like to sell directly.

Stage

the jumpin jupiter is a great stage to perform on

Stage size is 27’ x 18’ and is elevated 2’. The distance between the stage and the ceiling is approximately 12’. The surface is made of synthetic vinyl laminate (looks like wood). We have two rigging points for aerialist in the audience that are 14 feet from the floor.

There are curtains in the back (black) sides (red) and a main curtain that opens and closes. It is a manual pull and we advise you have someone to open and close it. We like the curtain closed for loading things on and off the stage, this includes music acts, or theatrical performances.

There is a side stage area, stage right, for coming on and off the stage. From this point you can go outside the back stage door, or down stairs to the dressing rooms.

Performance

We encourage all our performers to take their show to the next level at the Jumpin’ Jupiter. If you are a band, we encourage you to employ the theatre aspect of the Jumpin’ Jupiter into your routine. We like to take a catered approach to every night, to ensure that we make every night special. Remember, this is an EXPERIENCE that we are creating, not just a performance. We like to create exclusive drink specials for every night, and theme the venue to make certain each performance works. If you are interested in using any of our theatre equipment, please discuss with us your intentions and we will work with you to make your dreams a reality. All fire effects must be approved in writing prior to the day of the show.

Load in and Load Out

Load in times will vary based on day and act. Generally we ask that you load your equipment in during the day of the show, using the front entrance (Manchester Road) only during non business hours (pre 5:00 p.m.). Late load in will be allowed only through the entrance on Sutton Road (the back stage door) up until sound check.

Load out is allowed only during non-performance times, either after the show is completed or between acts. Load out during business hours will be on the Sutton Road side entrance (back stage door). Load out after hours can be done through the Manchester Road front entrance.

Before and After Performance

Before and after performance, we ask our performers to remain in their dressing rooms to aid in the mystique of the venue and the mystery of the performance. If you need to wander and co-mingle we ask that you change into normal street clothes and remove any performance makeup and costumes. Food and drinks will be provided in the green rooms, as well as TVs to watch the stage performance.

Dressing Rooms (Green Rooms)

There are two dressing rooms with vanities, mirors, chairs, showers, sinks, plug ins, clothing racks and a seating area. There is a communal bathroom with a shower and sinks. Dressing rooms are located on the lower level in the basement. The backstage and dressing rooms are accessible through a side entrance to the street. Entertainers are not allowed in the audience area in an attempt to keep the mystery between stage and audience. All entertainers should exit and enter through the stage door in street clothes when customers are present.

Standard of Personal Conduct

We expect performers at the Jumpin’ Jupiter to be professional, courteous, prompt, honest and clean. We have a strict ‘no tolerance’ policy of sexual harassment, religious harassment, racial harassment or any other type of harassment.

Failure to comply with these standards will result in termination of contract and seizure of any owed monies, in addition to other disciplinary measures.
